Christopher Obbard

Chris is a Tech Lead at Linaro in the Qualcomm Services Team where he works on integrating embedded systems (e.g. building complete images for clients). Chris’s specialities include audio driver development and working with Debian GNU/Linux for ARM processors as a Debian Developer. In his spare time, Chris has built the software for the PiDeck project, a real-time embedded distribution for DJs, based on Debian and the xwax application by Mark Hills. PiDeck has a world-wide community and has featured in the official MagPi magazine from the Raspberry Pi Foundation.

This BoF is to bring together developers, contributors and users who are interested in improving Debian support for Windows-on-Arm (WoA) laptops such as the Lenovo T14s Gen6 powered by the Qualcomm X Elite, identify and explain current key issues/blockers and explore what needs to be done over the longer term to ensure good user experience.
