Although he only recently started to actively contribute to the project, Julien Plissonneau Duquène is a long time FLOSS advocate and Debian user that has worked on various things including mass mailing toolchains, aeronautical technical publications, VoIP deployments, and hybrid cloud services and infrastructure.

He is currently focused on upgrading some critical build tools and dependencies for Debian's Java/JVM stack, among them Gradle and Kotlin, in a sustainable way.
