I am a Debian contributor since 2020, Debian Maintainer (DM) since 2023 and Debian Developer since 2024. I have been contributing in many areas of Debian such as package maintenance, translation with l10n-portuguese team, spreading Debian around Brazil, reporting bugs, etc.
I am BEng in Computer Engineering from University of São Paulo, with a passion to free software, operating systems and understanding how things work. I am also a software engineer at Magalu Cloud.
Accepted Talks:
l10n and i18n BoF
Internationalization and Localization are essential parts of an operating system that aims to be universal. Last year we had the kick-off BoF for members of i18n and l10n teams across the globe to come together and discuss how to collaborate and improve Debian in all languages. Now we need to get together again to follow-up the discussion and grow new ideas.
Finding bugs where nobody has found before: helping cURL to avoid patch releases
cURL has been consistently making patch releases for more than 26 years, but now these days might be over. With a combination of Release Candidates and the full power of Debian CI, we (maintainers of cURL in Debian) can help upstream developers to find and fix any bugs and regressions before the official release. If you want to know how we achieved this success and how you can do the same for <insert_here_the_name_of_your_preferred_package>, join us!
Debian LTS BoF
The Debian LTS team aims to provide security support for five years after the initial release, taking over the Security and Release Team on the third year.
This BoF is an opportunity to discuss between fellow team members and users (including sponsors), and to present our current goals regarding our workflows.
More information about Debian LTS can be found at https://wiki.debian.org/LTS
