Lintian-ng is an experiment at identifying performance bottlenecks in the current Lintian implementation and rewriting some critical checks in Rust. High-throughput, parallel checks are performed from the Rust runner, abeilt with lower coverage due to the number of Perl checks that would need to be rewritten.
